Kleen-Dri is committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of technology or ability.

We are actively working to increase the accessibility and usability of our website and in doing so adhere too many of the available standards and guidelines.

Web Accessibility Initiative

This website conforms to AA standard accreditation of the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 1.0.

These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities. Conformance with these guidelines will help make the web more user friendly for all people.

W3C Standards

This site has been built using code compliant with W3C standards for XHTML and CSS.

All pages on this site validate as XHTML 1.0 Strict. For example, check the Home Page for XHTML validity.

The site displays correctly in current browsers and using standards compliant XHTML/CSS code, which means that any future browsers will also display it correctly.

Third party applications

The site uses applications from third party suppliers such as Wordplay and Add this social sharing, which may have elements that are not accessible to all users. We will continue to regularly monitor any changes these suppliers roll out to their applications and, where possible, update them to be as accessible as possible. However, users may encounter accessibility problems when using third party applications and unfortunately The Prince’s Trust has no influence over the accessibility standards that updates and improvements to these third party applications adhere to.

Accessing content and links 

We have endeavoured to ensure that all of our content is accessible to users via all technologies. We are continuing to roll out ‘skip to content’ functionality for all screen readers and in addition we are investigating an issue with certain mobile devices labelling buttons with ambiguous text. We will endeavour to fix both of these issues as soon as possible.

The site is designed to make it as easy as possible for all users to make sense of the content on every page. However, due to CMS limitations some pages may have illogical heading structures, we will continue to try and improve this where possible.

Visual design

This site uses cascading style sheets for visual layout. If your browser or browsing device does not support style sheets at all, the content of each page is still readable.

Links

Many links have title attributes that describe the link in greater detail, unless the text of the link already fully describes the target (such as the headline of an article). Links are written to make sense out of context.

Images

All content images used in this site include descriptive ALT attributes. Purely decorative graphics include null ALT attribute.
